Justin Keating practices primarily in traditional labor law, employee and retiree benefits, internal union affairs and litigation. He represents unions and benefit funds in the state and federal courts, in contract negotiations, grievance arbitrations, before the NLRB and other administrative agencies and in internal union matters. He is a member of the Virginia, New York, and District of Columbia bars.

Prior to joining Beins, Axelrod, P.C., Justin worked for seven years in the Legal Department of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters where he represented the International Union in various legal matters. He also served as counsel to the Teamsters UPS National Negotiating Committee during 2002 and 2007 negotiations and represented the Union in numerous arbitrations against UPS. Justin has also taught many seminars to union leaders on legal issues in collective bargaining, contract administration, and internal union affairs.

Justin received his Bachelor’s degree from SUNY College at Fredonia and his law degree from The George Washington University. He is an active member of the Alexandria, Virginia, Democratic Committee and provides pro bono legal services in voter protection efforts.
